Our three state-of-the-art products have been developed to provide effective solutions for each of these aspects - XS2A enables banks and financial institutions to comply with the PSD2 Directive; LUXHUB One is an integration layer providing access to any bank via a unified API for account aggregation and payment initiation; and our Marketplace will create a collaborative community of financial services actors and provide a platform dedicated to connecting, testing, integrating, and nurturing innovative financial solutions. We are creating our team with skilled, motivated, open-minded, entrepreneurial people and currently looking for an exceptional Solutions Architect, interested in helping to shape the future API Economy, and actively contributing to the definition of current and future products and customer integrations.

You will join a rapidly expanding team of 35 across all departments, with a high level of skill, motivation, openness, and entrepreneurial spirit. LUXHUB is also a diverse, international company, with 13 different nationalities already represented across the workforce


Key responsibilities will include:
 

  • Provide subject matter expertise on architecture, software and system design, with direct report to the CTO

  • Design, develop and secure front-end APIs and downstream systems to ensure appropriate scalability, reliability and end user experiences

  • Work with product management to understand business requirements and provide technical solution definitions and appropriate specs for engineering teams to implement new product ideas and features

  • Ensure platform capabilities meet required regulatory specifications, along with security, scalability, availability and usage experience requirements

  • Develop documentation for internal and external parties to understand how to access and leverage our platform and services

  • Continuously pursue a strong knowledge of internal and external technology solutions, and maintain a strong understanding of applicable technologies, tools and services

  • Support sales activities as needed, by directly defining and presenting solutions to customers

  • Provide guidance and promote new technologies to development teams, while being directly involved in the development process. With ability to spearhead POC and tech spikes.


Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 5-10 years of working experience at a technical lead/architect level, with a thorough understanding of API design and microservices development. Strong development background is a must.

  • Implementation or working experience of Open Banking market standards (Berlin Group, Open Banking UK, STET)

  • Solid understanding of security aspects (AuthN and AuthZ, applied cryptography, OAuth, OIDC

  • Application design, infrastructure and architecture for enterprise-level applications experience

  • Expertise with containers, orchestration, and related technologies and architecture

  • Ability to balance priorities and break down complex problems to manageable chunks that can be delivered incrementally

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in written documents (graphics or text) and to present them coherently and logically

  • Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail

  • Ability to balance independent work with strong team spirit and customer focus. Able to identify and address stakeholder concerns - internal and external.

  • Thriving in a start-up environment, with a demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and personal autonomy. Leadership and motivational capabilities highly desired.

  • Perfectly fluent (both written and verbal) in English; any other language will be considered as a real advantage
